1. Introduction

Welcome to Wedding Planner. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our wedding planning platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our service provides tools for wedding planning, guest management, budget tracking, task coordination, and payment processing for wedding-related services.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration

Maintain the security of your account credentials

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Service Description

Wedding Planner provides the following services:

Guest list management and RSVP tracking

Budget tracking and expense management

Task planning and timeline coordination

Partner and vendor collaboration tools

Public wedding website hosting

Payment processing for wedding tickets and contributions

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Payment Processing: We use Stripe as our payment processor. By enabling payment features, you agree to comply with Stripe's terms of service and connected account agreement.

4.2 Wedding Tickets: You may configure ticket prices for your wedding guests. Payment processing fees and applicable taxes will be calculated at the time of transaction.

4.3 Platform Fees: Currently, our platform is provided free of charge for wedding planning services. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with at least 30 days notice.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Wedding Ticket Refunds: Refund policies for wedding tickets are determined by the wedding organizer (you, the user). As the organizer, you are responsible for:

Clearly communicating your refund policy to guests before they purchase tickets

Processing refund requests in accordance with your stated policy

Handling disputes directly with your guests

5.2 Recommended Refund Policy: We recommend the following refund policy for wedding tickets:

Full refund: Cancellation more than 60 days before the wedding

50% refund: Cancellation 30-60 days before the wedding

No refund: Cancellation less than 30 days before the wedding

Exception: Full refund for emergency circumstances with documentation

5.3 Platform Refunds: If we introduce platform fees in the future, refunds will be provided:

Full refund if cancellation occurs within 14 days of purchase

Pro-rated refund for annual subscriptions cancelled before expiration

No refund for completed services or after the wedding date has passed

5.4 Processing Refunds: Refund requests should be submitted through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

5.5 Stripe Fees: Please note that Stripe payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Use the service for fraudulent purposes

Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload to our platform (photos, guest lists, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to use, store, and display this content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

All rights to the Wedding Planner platform, including but not limited to software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wedding Planner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services (including Stripe), technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Upon termination, your right to access the service will cease immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
